South Korea

We cycled from the farm in two-and-a-half days back to Seoul over hills along the river and met many cyclists close to Seoul.

We stayed 2 weeks at the farm where we helped with all from berry picking to building mud brick houses.

Back in Gangneung we picked up our bicycles and were off a little further down the coast and up and down many hills inland towards the farm where we would WWOOF again.

The national park gives us a nice and tough climb through beautiful scenery, a flat tire and a great view of the coast the we would cycle along. We stayed with warmshowers host hotel November and picked up Susanne's mom from the airport.

Susanne spent 10 days on an organic farm in South Korea while Martin was in Denmark. On the farm most is 'handmade' and there was a lot of traditional Korean food to try, even shells!

From the busy and social city Seoul we made our way north to the DMZ. The mountains become beautiful although quite steep. We passed military checkpoints and made it to the peace dam.
